Brief Description:

A renewable energy feasibility study was undertaken by Rennewable Building Technologies Ltd. (RBT) on the introduction of alternative energies for the leisure centre. The report advised the client of the most suitable options available.

RBT was subsequently appointed to project manage the installation of a 500kW biomass boiler and solar water heating. Funding was secured for the renewable energy elements of this project from Sustainable Energy Ireland (SEI) and the Bioheat Programme.
