Brief Description:

The Rural Housing Association decided to incorporate Solar Water Heating systems for 3, 5 and 7 people houses in a new housing development in Castlewellan. It became a good example of how homeowners can be efficient with energy, save money and help the

environment.

This project also allowed an opportunity for the training of local tradesmen on the

installation of these renewable technologies.
