Carried out a concept design and performance specification of the required engineering systems Design will be carried out in accordance with all relevant guidelines, Dalata Hotel Employers Requirements, legislation and CIBSE Codes. Provided detailed design drawings using AutoCAD / BIM Level 2 and provide an accompanying technical and general specification within an agreed design period. The specifications and designs will cover all mechanical engineering systems including: - • Water Services • Hot and cold-water systems • Ventilation & comfort cooling • Air Conditioning system • Specify controls package for enhancement of Control Development Package by specialist • Above ground drainage design The specifications and performance designs will cover all electrical engineering systems including: • Mains Electrical distribution • Lighting • Power • Data and Communication (Containment only) • Fire Alarms • Security / Panic Alarms • Disabled Alarm systems • External lighting Coordinate the above services with each other, structural details and other aspects of the building, and ensure the system design “works” in terms of routing and spatial coordination. Construction Phase Review MEP contractor’s detailed working / coordination drawing package and technical submittals. Review MEP contractor’s detailed manufacturer specific equipment. Review MEP contractor’s design calculations for final pressure drops, schedule DPCV’s, final attenuator selections, heating design and interface, detailed controls design and interfaces. Completion Oversee and comment on O&M and record information. Carry out snagging and defects inspections upon completion of works.
